After reading several small articles (including portions of the SOPA Bill) I have not come to any conclusion. I agree with the core issue of putting an end to online piracy, however there has to be an affective way in doing so without infringing on our First Amendment right, or any other right for that matter. For the most part, I believe many people are afraid of the government going too far after the openning act (SOPA), and then expounding, or tightening the reigns of the internet after this bill passes.

The government has a bad habit of manipulating certain laws after they pass (with good intention). For example: The Patriot Act. No need to go into specifics, but we all know it happens, and happens frequently.

Until we can devise a system that combats piracy, we have to go with what we have; honesty and integraty.
